This is my first time participating in Blog Action Day and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.
Blog Action Day is a day where bloggers from around the world join together to discuss one issue in the hopes of reaching a lot of people and creating a lot of awareness. The issue this year is poverty.
I’ll admit, three years ago I would have found it difficult to engage in a conversation about poverty. The reason – I hadn’t experienced it first hand.
That has dramatically changed for me.
Here’s a personal example of what happened…

Have you ever eaten at a restaurant or cafe and had an experience you couldn’t forget?
Perhaps it was the delicious food or great service.
Or maybe it was a bad experience that left you with a “bitter” taste in your mouth.
Either way, one thing is for certain – you probably told someone about it.
Here’s an example…
Recently my wife and I had lunch at one of our local cafe’s. So the question is, was it a good experience or bad experience? Read on to find out…

In a minute I’m going to share how you can win a $497 gift but before I do, I want to share a story…
When I made the decision to go out on my own and start my own business, I did it starting from complete scratch. I had just graduated university, had a student loan and had zero contacts or experience within the industry I was looking to enter.
Sounds promising doesn’t it?
With all that said, one of the most frustrating experiences for me was having an enormous desire to learn but not having the money to invest in myself or my business.
I wanted to attend seminars, buy home study courses and receive coaching but the money just wasn’t there.
However, that didn’t mean I didn’t want to. I would listen in on all the free teleseminars, download all the free reports and sign up to all the free email newsletters.
But I knew at some point that the only real way to get the “good stuff” was to pay for it.
So how do you get paid content for free when you don’t have any money?
I found a way and I want to share it with you
Here’s what happened and how you can do the same thing…

Recently I had one of the most powerful weeks of my life.
It started when I attended a Tony Robbins seminar. I’ve always wanted to see Tony live and he certainly didn’t disappoint. In fact, it was hands down the best event I’ve EVER attended.
That’s saying a lot considering I’ve been to hundreds of events, but this was like no other.
The best description I could give would be this…

One of my mastermind members asked if I wanted to attend a Tony Robbins event towards the end of July.
I’ve always been a Tony fan and even remember going to the library years ago and signing out his Personal Power tapes (that was quite a long time ago!).
Unfortunately, I never had the chance to see him live.
Until now
It just so happens that I know the company in Toronto that is co-producing the event.
I called them up, and purchased my ticket right away.
But that’s when I thought, why not see if anyone else wants to go.
You can download a PDF with all the details right here .
If you’d like to attend the event, it’s happening July 25th-28th in Toronto and you can get tickets by calling:
1-866-994-2555 ext. 244
Just make sure you ask for Miriam and she’ll give you a good deal
I think it would be a blast to have a whole bunch of people attend so once you’ve got your tickets, shoot me an email and let me know so we can get together during the event.

Recently, I was engaged in a fascinating conversation.
A bunch of guys on my soccer team and I were discussing (of all things)… getting our hair cut!
It all started when someone made a comment about my freshly groomed crop. Well that comment led to another and before I knew it, an amazing set of business lessons came to the surface.
Here’s what I mean…

After a recent series of events, I’ve discovered that I have a love/hate relationship with winter.
Generally, I don’t mind the cold weather and snow. I mean, living in Canada you kind of have to
Nevertheless, my wife and I enjoy skiing and as a kid I always loved snowmobiling. However, I recently discovered why there are more songs about the California sun versus the Canadian winter!
Here’s what happened…

When done right, marketing can bring so much enjoyment to your life.
For example, I recently married my beautiful wife Amy (pictures below
). Leading up that wedding we obviously had a whack of bills to pay. Photographers, caterers, fees for the church, DJ, limo the list goes on and on.
Well when these bills hit all at once, it can be quite overwhelming.
Perhaps you’ve experienced a similar situation either for your own wedding, kids going off to college, Christmas bills or you’ve been hit with a big tax bill..
When this happens, your mind goes into overdrive thinking about all the possible ways you can generate some extra cash.
Personally, I find I’m most creative when I’m most desperate
The good news is, marketing can save the day. It did for me and here’s how…

After a whirlwind tour that took me from Raleigh to Vegas and then to Denver (all within one week), I’m looking forward to finally getting home and back into my regular routine.
However during my first stop at my AM2.0 Platinum Mastermind hosted by Armand Morin, I was forced into a situation that has made me possibly rethink when I launch my new membership.
So that’s where I need your help…

One person I’ve always admired online is John Reese and his recent video demonstrates why.
Besides being a brilliant marketer, he’s just a good human being.
Let me give you a personal example as well as a 12+ minute video that John just released…
