Recently I was speaking to Russell Brunson and we were talking about how to eliminate unwanted phone calls from people looking to suck all the information you know on a topic, without any desire to pay for it.

Have you ever experienced this?

That’s when Russell showed me this resource called Ether.

Here’s how it works…

You basically get a 1-888 number from Ether with an 8 digit extension. Then you set your extension to forward to your phone number (no one ever sees the number it forwards to).

Then you set your rate either on an hourly basis ($100/hour), a per minute basis ($15 for 15 minutes) or a flat fee ($30/call). Once you do this, if anyone calls that number they will only be able to get through to you in they’ve prepaid your rate!

In additon, there are a whole bunch of other features you can play with using their online control panel. For example one of them allows you to set specific times and dates that you are available to take these calls. Therefore your phone will only ring during those times.

What’s neat is once someone calls your number wanting to pay your fee, a REAL LIVE person will come on the line and take their credit card info right over the phone. It adds that element of professionalism AND you aren’t the one handling all the credit card info - Ether is.

So what does this service cost?

15%.

Ether bills their credit or debit cards and sends you your money via direct deposit or check. Ether ’s commission is 15%. The good news is there are no monthly fees, no setup fees, and no connection fees AND it takes very little time to get started.

As you can see, this is a really valuable resource for anyone conducting coaching, providing consulting or just wanting to charge people for speaking with them on the phone.
