Finally Something To Help My Major Weakness…

PRODUCT REVIEW: Stephen Pierce’s OptiMINDzation

My one major weakness is definitely my ability to focus on one task. Everytime I have an idea, my mind starts racing and my attention is taken in the complete opposite direction of what I was doing at the time.

Can you relate?Stu with OptiMINDzation

Up to this point, I’ve never really found anything that helps this ADD/Idea Diareahha except some good old fashioned discipline (and we all know how difficult that can be).

That’s why I decided to be a lab rat (sort of).

I had heard fabulous things about a new scientific method for helping people increase their mental focus, enhance their memory and helping people absorb more information very quickly.

Sounds impressive right?

Well some top online marketers like Jim Edwards, John Reese and many others were telling me that it was working for them so I decided to give it a try.

What I found caught me off guard…

Stereo HeadphonesIt’s an audio CD.

However, it’s not like your ordinary audio CD.

First of all, it is highly recommended that you listen to it with headphones (preferrably the big stereo headphones).

Secondly, when you do start listening to the CD, you may think something is wrong with the CD.

At first, I actually thought I had a bad CD that was skipping!

But here’s what happened…

I just sat back on the couch, closed my eyes and just listened to the beats. After about 20 minutes I seriously felt different. It was like I had just gone to the gym and completed a workout except it wasn’t my muscles that were sore. It felt like my brain had just been exercised.

Ok, ok… sounds wierd right?

That’s what I thought too so I decided to try it a few more times to see if it really did help me improve my focus.

Here’s How I Use This CD

OptimindzationPerhaps you’re like me in that when I initially wake up, I don’t just spring out of bed all wide eyed and bushy tailed. It takes me a few minutes to actually get out of bed. Normally I lie in bed with my eyes closed thinking about what I need to do during the day.

So I decided to use that “morning laziness” as an opportunity to “mentally workout”.

As soon as my alarm goes off I just roll over, grab my iPod and put the headphones on. Then I start the audio track from Stephen Pierce’s OptiMINDzation.

Generally I’ve been listening to about 30-35 minutes before I stop and start my day. The great news is I have noticed a difference in my ability to start my day with extreme focus.

The Benefits

I’m getting more done.

I’m more organized in the way I approach my days.

I feel better about myself because I know I’m not wasting nearly as much time as I use to when completing projects.

AND…

I feel a lot more sharp when tackling projects that need a lot of “mental activity”.

The Downside of OptiMINDzation

Although I think it’s a great product I do want to share the downside so that your aware of it before you decide to purchase.

Each session is delivered every month on a CD and although that seems like the best method of delivery, I found it a bit clumsy.

The reason is, when you listen to this type of thing you won’t be driving or at your computer. You’re generally going to be lying down with headphones on which makes it difficult if you don’t have a portable CD player handy (most of us have traded in our portable CD players for MP3 players).

So it would be nice to have a digital version available.

However, the solution for this was pretty easy because I just simply converted the audio file to an MP3 file and then downloaded it on to my iPod. That way I have the best of both worlds.

One Last Thing To Consider

This is NOT an instant solution.

It’s just like going to the gym, you won’t come away from your first workout looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime.

BUT…

If you create a routine like I have where you regularly listen to the audio from OptiMINDzation then over time you will experience many of the benefits I outlined above.

So if you are like me in that you are constantly fighting with yourself to just focus your attention, energy, and ideas, AND you’d like to improve your concentration, boost your creativity and build your ability to absorb information fast, then I suggest you give it a try.
