Leverage The Phone

Let’s face it, every small business owner has a phone but are they really using it to it’s full revenue generating potential?

Probably not.  In fact, when we ran our “Most Overlooked Business Tool” contest, there were LOTS of people who guessed the phone.

So why don’t more people use it to make money?

Another perspective: maybe the phone is associated so much with distraction and interruption that it’s almost counter intuitive to think of it as a business tool… Knuckling down to work, unless you’re in tele-sales or something, involves minimising how much time you’re on it (at least in the early stages).

Wonder what other potential tools we automatically discount because we’ve learnt to think of them first in other contexts?
