Feed Your Brain and Watch Sales Explode!

Obe_Stu.jpgFor Christmas, Amy gave me a present I really wanted (that’s him on the right!).

Obe has made our lives a lot more entertaining but he’s also increased my household chores!

However, after a couple of weeks with this “present”, I’ve discovered a secondary benefit and it made me realize what I had been missing out on.

Every morning and afternoon Obe and I go for a walk. Usually our walks are 30-45 minutes and besides our regular game of fetch, I was finding that they were starting to get a bit boring.

So I did something I hadn’t done in a long, long time.

I grabbed my iPod and started listening to some marketing courses.

The first was Alex Mandossian and Joe Polish’s “Stick Strategy Secrets”. It’s an 8-module course so there is quite a bit of audio.

However, with all the walking Obe and I have done over the last few weeks, I was able to go through the entire course reletively quickly.

I know what you are thinking, “Ok Stu, big deal, what’s your point?”.

My point is this…

Are you taking advantage of your regular “dead time”?

Here are some ideas:

- Commute to work

- Workout time

- Walking the dog

- Picking up the kids from school

- Long trips

- Waiting in the airport

- During dinner (only if no one is home :))

- While your getting ready for work

- As you are working on mundane tasks

Since I don’t have a commute every day, I really wasn’t setting aside time to regularly invest in myself by listening to good solid marketing materials. So since we moved into our house 4 months ago I’ve found I haven’t really been growing at the speed I would like.

Obe_Amy.jpgCan you relate?

That’s when it dawned on me to bring the iPod on our daily walks.

Here’s Obe again (he’s definitely a “mamas boy”)

Since I started listening to these audios, my brain has been on fire with all kinds of strategies that I’m really excited to implement this year.

It’s demonstrated to me the value of continuosly listening to material that will help you and your business grow.

That’s why I’m excited to be a part of a FANTASTIC new program focused on helping you consume top notch marketing materials.

It’s called the Marketing Mindshare.

Be sure to join us for an absoluetly free teleseminar where I’ll be sharing my ideas, insights and predictions for 2007.

marketingmindshare.jpgGo here for all the details.

This project has been professionally put together by one of our best Idea Incubator graduates and during the next few months I will be featuring a few of them who have done something VERY rare in this day and age…

They’ve taken ACTION!

These are real people who are successfully implementing the ideas they generated after attending the Idea Incubator.

Stay tuned for future updates but in the meantime be sure to join us on Tuesday for this action packed teleseminar (I’ll also provide a dynamite (and valuable) checklist for everyone who joins us live.
