After a recent series of events, I’ve discovered that I have a love/hate relationship with winter.
Generally, I don’t mind the cold weather and snow. I mean, living in Canada you kind of have to
Nevertheless, my wife and I enjoy skiing and as a kid I always loved snowmobiling. However, I recently discovered why there are more songs about the California sun versus the Canadian winter!
Here’s what happened…

It didn’t take long for the ideas to start flowing at this year’s Idea Incubator.
However, there was one theme that ran through the entire event…
“Ideas Are Worthless Without Implementation”
With our star studded panel of experts including Armand Morin, Alex Mandossian, Ray Edwards, Michel & Sylvie Fortin, Jermaine Griggs, Simon Leung and Matt Bacak, everyone was extremely pleased with the content that was shared.
There were many highlights that stand out including our interactive round table sessions (see pics below), Alex’s “Freedom Cry”, Jermaine’s “Preacher Towel” and the surprise birthday cake
However, there was one portion of the seminar that REALLY stood out for me personally. At the end of my final presentation one of the seminar attendees stood up and did something that completely shocked me.

After the Prediction Call, the message was clear…
“If You Can’t Keep Up, You’ll Be Left Behind”
Several speakers including Rich Schefren and Jeff Walker spoke about the importance of producing high quality content and how that will play a bigger and bigger role in your marketing process.
But Jeff also said one more thing that caught my attention…
He said, “Content alone, won’t be enough”.
That’s when he revealed the other “ingredient” you need to include if you want to maximize sales…

Have you ever wondered how some people are able to jump on a trend right when it’s hot? They seem to “know” what’s coming and immediately take advantage of it.
Think Steve Jobs and music.
How did he know that most of us would prefer to carry music around with us but it had to be convenient and look cool?
…PLUS…
He somehow “knew” people would much rather buy music by the “song” instead of the “album”.
His ability to predict what the market wanted gave him a distinct advantage.
Would you like the same advantage?

Have you ever come across something and said to yourself, why didn’t someone think of that before?
That was my reaction when I saw iYule (www.iYule.tv).
As described on the website, iYule is a “30-minute Yule Log video for iPods, iPhone, Zunes and more!”. Basically, it’s a video of a fireplace complete with soothing background music and the snap, crackle and pop of a real fireplace.
Here’s why I like this idea…

I get asked all the time…
Who does your website graphics?
Well there’s actually 3 answers to that.
For my business, I broke my graphic requirements into 3 different categories:
- Headers, Footers and Product Shots
- Graphics for Physical Products
- Salesletter Graphics
Each group are unique which is why I don’t have the same designer do everything. So let’s take a look at who actually does the designing for each group of graphics (I think you’ll be surprised when you get to category 3 - Salesletter Graphics).

When done right, marketing can bring so much enjoyment to your life.
For example, I recently married my beautiful wife Amy (pictures below :)). Leading up that wedding we obviously had a whack of bills to pay. Photographers, caterers, fees for the church, DJ, limo the list goes on and on.
Well when these bills hit all at once, it can be quite overwhelming.
Perhaps you’ve experienced a similar situation either for your own wedding, kids going off to college, Christmas bills or you’ve been hit with a big tax bill..
When this happens, your mind goes into overdrive thinking about all the possible ways you can generate some extra cash.
Personally, I find I’m most creative when I’m most desperate
The good news is, marketing can save the day. It did for me and here’s how…

If you create any kind of information product, podcasts, online videos or teleseminars, then you are going to love this valuable resource that I’ve been using in my business.
It’s a website that sells royalty free music.
That means you can use this music pretty much however you like (please see terms and conditions for full details) in the production of your information products, podcasts, websites or wherever else you see fit.
The best part about this site is not only the selection but…

After reading a couple posts on CopyBlogger this morning I was inspired to create this post.
This question is straight forward and right to the point…
What’s Stopping You From Creating
Your First Info Product?
Creating an information product can easily be one of the most profitable activities for any online business and yet so many have not bothered to create one.
Did I mention that the profit margins are enormous?
Knowing that, what’s holding you back from getting yours completed?

One of the things that first scared me about membership sites was the idea of having to generate fresh content every month.
Sometimes, it can be hard enough coming up with content for a stand alone product let alone doing it on a monthly basis!
However, there are several strategies that can dramatically help you speed up the process - especially if you are running a membership site because many of these strategies rely on your members who are creating the content for you!
