Time of My Life

Recently I had one of the most powerful weeks of my life.

It started when I attended a Tony Robbins seminar. I’ve always wanted to see Tony live and he certainly didn’t disappoint. In fact, it was hands down the best event I’ve EVER attended.

That’s saying a lot considering I’ve been to hundreds of events, but this was like no other.

The best description I could give would be this…

It’s like giving yourself the best reward you could ever receive, combined with the passion and energy of a U2 concert (my favorite band), combined with the spiritual energy of attending a massive church.

My mind was racing…

My heart was pounding…

And I have never felt more alive (other than my wedding day!).

The best part was, this event helped me get extremely clear on what it is that I want out of life but more importantly, how to go after it.

I not only saw and visualized my future but I felt it throughout my entire body. It was an unbelievable process and I’m extremely grateful that I had the chance to experience it.

WORD OF ADVICE: Go See Tony Live. The event I attended was called “Unleash The Power Within” and without trying to sound too dramatic, it was definitely THE most powerful event I’ve ever attended.

As soon as I came back I found myself more focused, more productive and more excited about my work, my projects and my life. In addition, my wife immediately noticed a difference in me and as I shared my vision of our future, her excitement levels grew as well. Look out world, here I come!

Later that week I had another thing to look forward to…

A Coldplay Concert in Toronto.

In case you don’t know who Coldplay is, they are the absolute best band in the world (next to U2) :)

Personally, I LOVE attending live concerts because the energy of the crowd all singing to the same song is just amazing. But when it’s one of your favorite bands, it’s ten times better.

To top it off, I had my wife and two best friends Matt and Monica with me which made the night that much better. We laughed, sang our hearts out and cheered all night long. It was great.

Then, two nights later, one of my good friends from high school got married.

After attending the Tony Robbins event, I couldn’t help but reflect on how grateful I am to have such wonderful friends.

There are a group of us who have remained close ever since high school and we make a point of getting together every 3-4 months. However, in between those get togethers, it’s always nice to have a “reason” to see everyone - especially when it’s a wedding.

Sonya looked gorgeous and the ceremony and reception were beautiful. We all had a blast and as the night grew to a close, I felt bad having to tell Amy that we needed to go (she was tearing up the dance floor!).

Then to top it off, the week ended by attending yet another concert.

This time it was Amy’s favorite singer, Jack Johnson.

Amy’s good friend and her boyfriend joined us (once we found them) and after a couple stops to get some candy and a couple beverages, we were all set.

The concert was out doors which created a great environment for everyone. There were TONS of people but after we found our little spot on the grass, it felt like everyone vanished and it was just us, under the stars with Jack singing us some tunes :)

Life is great.

Here’s what I want to you to take from this…

1) The absolute best gift you can give yourself is a crystal clear vision of what you want in life. See it. Feel it. And most importantly, make sure you go after it!

2) Surround yourself with great friends. They make you laugh, they pick you up when you are down and they push you to be the best person you can be. Good friends are hard to find so when you get them, cherish them.

3) Take time to enjoy yourself. Too often we get caught up in the whirlwind of everyday life and we don’t take the time to relax and do the things that make us smile. Life is too short so you might as well enjoy the time you have :)
