Virtual Book Tour System | Sell Books Fast

Virtual Book Tour SystemGreat marketing ideas are the fuel to your marketing success.

That’s why when I see something creative and effective, I take note.

For example, learning to sell books fast is one of the skills every author wants to master. However, the problem is most don’t know how to do it (including some of the best-selling authors you see on the NY Times Best Sellers List).

My good friend Alex Mandossian has been working with some very high profile authors showing them exactly how to sell books by the thousands with very little effort with his Virtual Book Tour System.

With that said, what grabbed my attention the most was observing how Alex has been marketing his course.

Before I share some examples of what I observed, let me say this…

As I was preparing this blog post I realized something about myself and I’m willing to bet that you’ll not only relate to what I’m about to say, but that you probably suffer from the same thing.

It boils down to two little words.

These two words describe a person (like myself) who gets excited about one particular thing.

This “one thing” can be related to business and marketing but it can also be related to other things like relationships, kids, Christmas gifts and wedding proposals :)

Curious?

Ok, I’ll admit…I’m an “Idea Junkie”.

I LOVE great ideas.

For a long time I was focused entirely on the idea itself.

However, I learned a major lesson.

The “idea” is just the beginning. It only gains value when it’s put into action.

That’s why when my good friend (and mentor) Alex told me about his “unusual” marketing idea he was going to use in order to promote his highly acclaimed course, my ears perked up.

Why?

Because it’s unique.

It’s also fun.

…PLUS…

It gets fantastic results.

Basically, he filmed a simple video of him sitting in his hot tub explaining the benefits of his course and why information publishers should tune into his $97 teleseminar to find out more.

This simple idea worked so well that he ended up doing a follow up video with him in the hot tub again!

The question is, did they work?

Well I’ll tell you this…

Alex has been scrambling to get more teleseminar lines to match the demand so yes, I would say it has been a success thus far (we’ll know more once he conducts that call).

But here’s my big takeaway:

“Always Look To Add A Little Creativity In Your Promotions To Separate Yourself From Your Competition”

Remember, the most creative idea for a promotion has zero value until you put it into action.

Alex has an amazing course that has helped hundreds of people sell more books, easier, cheaper and faster than any other traditional book marketing methods.

However, unless he can find creative strategies for reaching these people to demonstrate the value of what he has to provide, nothing happens.

That’s why his hot tub videos were so successful.

They are “out there” enough that it grabs the viewer’s attention but not too over the edge that it would turn people away.

Finding that balance between being creative and being effective is what we call the “marketing sweet spot”.

Great job Alex!
